Freedom's Source
It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves under the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.
Were it not for the brave, there would be no land of the free.
9/11/01, never forget.

If you are trying to imply that this quagmire in Iraq is for American freedom, you need to pay closer attention.
While the soldier may have fought for freedoms in the past, Bush's war is nothing but an abuse to our troops.
This reminds me of the SNL skit of the Bush vs. Gore debates back in 2000. Al Gore talks about Bush's proposed tax cuts as "risky," and makes first mention of his "lock box." And this is how it went:
Bush: I don't know what that was all about, but I will tell you one thing: Don't mess with Texas.
Gore: I didn't mess with Texas.
Jim Lehrer: Governer Bush, I listened very closely to the Vice President's remarks, and I honestly do not believe he messed with Texas.
And here we find a similar situation. She never said anything about Iraq. In fact, the only (somewhat) current, contemporary event she referenced at all was 9/11.
Interestingly, she made this post on September 11th, 2005, which just so happens to be the 4th anniversary of the horrible day that was 9/11/01.
Maybe I'm just crazy, but that seems like an unlikely coincidence to me.
The only other comment she made was that we should never forget.
Nowhere is Iraq even mentioned.
Is the solemn anniversary of our nation so unimportant to you that you can't even put your vehemently bitter liberal propaganda on hold for one day, to remember that day with sober resolve? (Alternatively, since resolve requires a spine, sadness or something like it might be seen as a mildly acceptable substitute.) Are you that much of an anti-patriot?
Obviously you missed the English lesson on how a simple grasp of language can clue us into the author's intent. Click here for that one.
